Moving knowledge & values into practice

for Heart-centered, actionable work

  • Know you want some things to change, but where to start?

You've been having conversations, know some problems exist with internal or partner relations, but knowing how and where to start seems overwhelming. Let me listen to your needs; I can help you create a roadmap to pursue organizational goals and leadership support.

  • Committed to racial equity, with a good start, but now what?

You've done racial equity trainings with your team, have values, but you are stuck on how to make this part of how your organization actually works, day in day out. Let me help guide a strategy to putting values and knowledge into practice in ways that transform your organizational culture and function.

  • Always wanting to grow more...

Need a retreat to be together and take stock of how your team is working together? You have been doing your work from a strong committed space for a while, but the work is challenging, practice is tough, times are hard, the political climate is painful. Let me hear where you are and we can create, together, some workshops that will support your team and/or partners in resiliency tools, wellness strategies, organizational cultural practices that will strengthen you as individuals and as a collective.

  • Board Retreats

Engage in retreats using liberatory structures and generative somatics, practices that nurture the kind of organizational culture you want and need to do your most powerful work in the world. Engage the application and practice of a racial equity lens in your daily work, including assessment and transformational change, capacity and skill building, strategic action planning and implementation.

  • Collaboratives - Development & Support

With 15 years experience convening, building, and leading multi-organizational, multi-agency collaboratives, I can support your efforts to form a new collaborative, guide an existing group, or help rejuvenate a collective that needs a new spark. Maximize how agencies work with not-for-profits, acknowledging and adjusting power dynamics, embedding racial equity in collective practices, and finding ways to strengthen both partners and the collaborative goals by working together.

  • 1:1 Coaching

Explore your leadership practices and personal direction through a lens of racial equity, conflict, grief, emotional justice and somatic healing. Build skills and self-accountability to enhance how you work along side your team and how you pursue your purpose in your work life.

  • White Caucus practice

Support your white staff or group in learning and unlearning collectively, as it is in collectives that we heal and grow best. White caucus work is invaluable, and tough, but getting messy and making mistakes provides precious learning opportunities for all of us. You should expect the uncomfortable, the hard, and even the missteps. And that said, making a caucus group a space where folks are invested and committed from the beginning–and for a long haul–builds internal and external trust, and investing in its care-filled development gives the work the best chance at thriving.

And yes, I have colleagues who can collaborate with me if you are looking to start white and BIPOC caucusing.

  • Community practice

Developing a community of practice is truly an amazing gift, bringing together a consistent group in regular (monthly or as suits your partners) conversation about how to walk out anti-racist theory in our day to day work. I specialize in crafting spaces for multi-racial, multi-organizational practice, and believe in supporting the development of your crafting something you and your cohorts can craft and manage independently, for years to come. Building community this way will strengthen your racial equity understanding, your skills in walking your talk, your partnerships, and the work your organization or community does at large in the world.

  • 1:1 Collective Wellness practice

Regular collective practice together is vital for those working in and for our most adversely affected communities, but too many “wellness” programs don’t take into consideration the challenges faced by frontline workers. Holding and processing grief in these times of climate change and social injustice combined requires intention. Crafting wellness sessions that are rooted in racial justice, are about collective liberation, and weave wellness into how we do our work together is transformative culture work. This kind of wellness practice can strengthen individual and organizational health, authentically process grief, increase resilience and retention, and build community so you can do your best work. Let’s build the world we believe is the right of all.
